Me and my family's stay at St. Louis for visiting my dad's friend and his family & my wheelchair basketball tournament
On Friday November 8th, me and my sister had no school so, we could have more time to visit my dad's friend and his family. We started at 1:00 and arrived at 6:00 with a break in between. When we arrived at their house, a dog named Miller ran to where we were. (He was excited) In their family room, there was a crib. In there, there was a baby girl who was 6 months old and super cute. From there, we went to the Comfort Inn Hotel which was about 20 minutes away. I just ate dinner, relaxed on the bed and slept. On Saturday November 9th, we first ate breakfast and headed to my wheelchair basketball tournament. On our first game, we played against our own team but at a higher level. Our opponents won 14-10. The next game was against the Rolling Rams. They were a bit easier to manage but our opponents still won, 15-12. Our final game was against the Nebraska Red Dawgs. They cooked us, our opponents won 26-12. While the last 2 games were happening, my mom and sister went in my dad's friend's car to the St. Louis Arch. They enjoyed the ride and came back in the last few minutes of the last game. Then me and my family went to our hotel. I watched TV, ate dinner and slept. On Sunday November 10, we ate breakfast and headed to my wheelchair basketball tournament. That day, our team only played a game against the Rolling Rams. It was a tough fight. In the final 10 seconds, it was really intense. I was on the bench and one of my teammates didn't hold the ball tightly and on of the players in the opponent team took it so, our coach immediately called timeout. In the final 5 seconds, out opponents did 3 passes to a player about 8 feet away from the hoop. The player rushed so, he just threw the ball backwards hoping it would go in the hoop. Instead, it went diving above the hoop. Right after that moment, I screamed in excitement like a howler monkey. Then, some players got some awards. After that, when we went to my dad's friend's house at 12:00. The same thing happened when we visited them on Friday. I then watched the Chicago Bears game which kept going on a down-spiral for the Bears. We then left at 2:00, ate a snack at McD's at 5:30 and arrived home at 7:30.
