 Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts

Welcome to the Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts game on 9-22-24. On the first play of the game, Cole Kmet caught a pass. On 3rd & 6, Caleb Williams was in big trouble so, he threw it long to Rome Odunze but, it was overthrown. As a result, Cairo Santos had to do a 56-yard field goal but, it was just behind the bars. On the Colts possession, Micheal Pittman caught the pass and spins his way to the Bears' territory. Then, Alec Pierce caught a 40-yard pass and got down at the 5-yard line. But, in the next play, Tremaine Edmunds intercepted the ball and the Bears took over. After that, Caleb Williams threw it deep to Rome Odunze and he caught it for a 45-yard play. Then, Caleb Williams was late on time so he tried to force it to a player but, it was intercepted by Jaylon Jones. After the interception, Kylen Granson was wide open for a 41-yard play. At the 25-yard line, Johnathan Taylor jump-cuts right and runs ahead for the touchdown for a 29-yard play. On the Bears 2nd down, Caleb Williams makes a nice throw to Rome Odunze. On 4th down at the 1-yard line, Caleb Williams does a bad job doing Read-Option and badly passes to DeAndre Swift which made the Colts gain about 10 yards. On the Colts 3rd down,  Anthony Richardson throws it really high for Josh Downs to catch it. In the final minute of the first half, the Colts were guarding the Bears to come into field goal range. Still, Cole Kmet went rumbling ahead and was brought down 1 yard short of the 1st down. Then, Caleb Williams waited until the recievers got to the touchdown and did a Hail Mary which was tipped by the Colts and caught by DJ Moore at the Colts 1-yard line. If DJ Moore had reached out a little bit more, the Bear's would have got a touchdown. In the 3rd quarter, on the Colts possession, Anthony Richardson had a wide-open man but instead, he overthrew it and Jaylon Johnson picked it off. The Bears were stopped at the 40-yard line so, Cairo Santos did a 53-yard field goal. After 2 possessions, the Colts had the ball. They did pretty much nothing. When the Bears' had the ball at 3rd & 8, Caleb Williams got sacked by Kenny Moore. When the Bears punted the ball, the Colts D-lineman barely blocked it. On the Colts 4th & 3, Jonathan Taylor ran the ball but, he didn't make it. On the Bears 3rd down, Caleb Williams overthrew it to Rome Odunze. On the Colts possession at the 15-yard line, Trey Sermon came in as a substitute for Jonathan Taylor. He got a touchdown. That Bears possession, Cole Kmet was cooking and got the Bears inside the 5-yard line. Finally, the Bears did Play-Action and Caleb Williams got his first passing touchdown by throwing it to Rome Odunze. They did a funny celebration. The Bears had it again and passed a little bit to the Bears 35-yard line. Then, Liatu Latu did a forced fumble which made the colts gain possession at the Bears 25-yard line. Jonathan Taylor got a simple touchdown. When the Bears offense was at the Colts 35-yard line, Rome Odunze caught the pass, juked a player in the Colts secondary and went out of bounds after the 1st down marker. At the 2-yard line, Caleb Williams threw it to wide open Cole Kmet for the touchdown. After that, the Bears did a regular kick which was surpising to me. Then, the Colts got a 1st down which means they have won the game. In my opinion, it was a wacky game because there were multiple change of possessions without any scores. I think the MVP of that game was Jonathan Taylor.
